1. Overview

Welcome to OutTheGC. By using the OutTheGC website and related services (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

OutTheGC is a tool that helps users plan group trips by sharing availability, preferences, and ideas through collaborative event links.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using OutTheGC, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use OutTheGC only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • Use the Service to share harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
  • Submit false or misleading information that disrupts group planning
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to abuse the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access if you violate these Terms.

4. User Content

OutTheGC allows users to submit content such as:

  • Availability schedules
  • Trip preferences (locations, budget, ideas)
  • Names and optional notes

You understand that:

  • Content you submit may be visible to others with access to the event link
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of your submissions
  • You should not share sensitive personal information

We do not moderate all user content and are not responsible for what users share.

5. Shared Links & Access

OutTheGC events are accessed via shareable links.

You understand that:

  • Anyone with the link may be able to view or contribute to the event
  • You are responsible for who you share the link with
  • We cannot guarantee privacy if links are distributed publicly

6. User Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may process:

  • Event data (trip details, responses, preferences)
  • User-submitted names and notes
  • Usage and interaction data

We do not sell your personal data. However, we may use anonymized data to improve the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

OutTheGC may integrate with or rely on third-party services (e.g., hosting providers, analytics tools).

We are not responsible for:

  • The content or policies of third-party services
  • Any issues caused by third-party platforms

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service (excluding user-provided content) belong to OutTheGC.
