1. Overview

Welcome to CoverClick. By using the CoverClick browser extension and related services (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

CoverClick is a tool that helps users generate and manage cover letters for job applications.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using CoverClick, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use CoverClick only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • Use the Service to generate misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive application materials
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to abuse the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

4. Generated Content

CoverClick uses AI to generate cover letters and related content.

You understand that:

  • Generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate
  • You are fully responsible for reviewing and editing any content before use
  • You assume all risk for how the generated content is used

CoverClick does not guarantee job outcomes or application success.

5. User Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may process:

  • Job descriptions
  • Resume or profile inputs
  • Generated outputs

We do not sell your personal data. However, we may use anonymized data to improve the Service.

6. Third-Party Websites

CoverClick may interact with third-party sites (e.g., job boards like Handshake, LinkedIn).

We are not responsible for:

  • The content or policies of those sites
  • Any actions taken by those platforms
  • Changes that may affect how CoverClick works

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service (excluding user-provided content) belong to you.

You retain ownership of any content you input or generate.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will always work without interruption
  • Generated content will be accurate or effective
  • The Service will meet your expectations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoverClick shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of job opportunities, data, or profits
  • Errors or issues in generated content

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time.
