CoverClick is a Chrome extension that helps users generate tailored cover letters from job postings.

- Job posting content from the active browser tab (only when the user initiates generation)

- User-provided inputs (such as resume details or preferences)

- Basic account information through Google OAuth (such as email)

- Subscription and payment status (processed via Stripe)

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information solely to:

- Generate personalized cover letters

- Provide and improve the core functionality of the extension

- Manage user authentication and subscriptions

3. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. CoverClick does not store full payment card details.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties, except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., OpenAI for text generation, Stripe for payments).

5. Data Storage

We may store user data securely to support account functionality and subscription status.

6. User Control

Users can stop data collection at any time by:

- Not using the extension

- Logging out of their account
